The infrastructure of Family Court, Saharanpur
The present Family Court building functions within the campus of the Civil Court. There is one room provided for the Court. The proceedings are held in a small room, approximately 30 x 20 ft in size. The room is divided into two portions. Family Court Case Status & Infrastructure
One half is occupied by the Judge where he conducts the proceedings. The other half is occupied by clients, their family members, and lawyers. The clients also stand in the veranda. There is no provision for clients to sit while awaiting their turn.
Family Court Case Status
The clients’ family members stand outside and the entire room gets crowded and congested during the proceedings. Adjacent another small room, approximately 8 x 10 ft in size, which is the Judge’s Chamber, where there is one chair, one table, a three-piece sofa set, and an attached toilet.
Adjacent to the room where the court proceedings are held is a new Counseling Centre, inaugurated on December 5, 2016. It is approximately 16 x 20 ft in size and has two tables and eight chairs. The Family Court, Saharanpur, appointed four part-time counselors, Ms. Bir Singh, Ms. Jasbir Singh, and the other ten advocates. Family Court Case Status & Infrastructure

Table 13 – presents the clear data of the intuition of the suit in the different categories in the same court Saharanpur during the years of 2013 to 2018. The table shows that the highest cases no. of cases, numbering 1885 at the family court was for divorce under sec. 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 The second highest no. of cases numbering 1605 were registered under the restitution of conjugal rights under sec 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.,
The third highest no. of cases numbering 1311 were registered Haq A Zojiyat Under Muslim law. 20 cases restitution under sec. 10 for judicial separation of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. Family Court Case Status & Infrastructure under sec 11 total of 1 9 cases have been filed for declaration and 41 cases were filed for deceleration of voidable marriage under sec 12, 03 cases clamming property right under sec 27 and 1269 cases were filed for other dispute.
It is very clear from the table that about 22.96 % cases are instituted under sec 9, % case is instituted under sec 13 of the H.M.A, 0.28% case is instituted under sec 10 of the H.M.A, 0.85% case is instituted under sec 11&12 of the H.M.A, 26.96%

Case Status By Name
Table 15 shows the total number of maintenance cases filed during 2013-18. It is clearly visible that the number of cases increasing year by year. As in the year, December 2013 a total of 24 cases were instituted 859 cases during 2014. A total of 949 cases was instituted in 2015.
Family Court Case Status & Infrastructure –A total of 993 cases were instituted during 2016, 1175 cases were instituted during 2017 and in the year 2018 total of 73 cases were instituted. The exceptional year was 2018 when the numbers of cases instituted were decreased that of year, but it was nominal.
